Megan Katich is a Communications and Outreach Specialist. Prior to joining the CFSC she worked as a wildland firefighter, NREMT, tour manager, and creative director. She studied Emergency Management at Northern Arizona University, with an emphasis on Incident Command Systems, interagency collaborations, and hazard mitigation. Her passions include outdoor advocacy, wilderness restoration, and community integration. She hopes that her creative background and hands-on experience as a wildland firefighter will help facilitate community collaboration and increased resiliency across all of California.
