Fire Safe Vendor List

California Fire Safe Council’s Fire Safe Vendor List is a digital publication promoting businesses in the fields of fire safety, prevention, and/or mitigation.

This first of its kind, FREE resource is a valuable tool for our community available winter 2025. We’re connecting vendors throughout the state skilled in wildfire resiliency projects with wildfire resilience organizations.

Vendor types in the list include:

  • Fire-Resistant Building & Materials (contractors, siding, vents, gutters, screens, and more)
  • Wildfire Mitigation Platforms and Services (assessment apps, data tracking and services such as chippers, tree trimmers, mastication, grazing, traffic control, and more)
  • Environmental Consultants (CEQA compliance, CWPPs, grant writing, biological surveys, forestry, facilitation, and more)
  • Fire Detection Software, Equipment, & Services (sensors, drones, cameras, satellites, AI and platforms)
  • Emergency Response Equipment (first aid kits, sprinkler systems, disaster plan apps)

Each vendor listed meets the following key business criteria:

  1. Current liability and workers’ compensation insurance
  2. Current business license
  3. Clean background check of principle leadership
  4. Professional references
  5. Statement of alignment with CFSC’s mission
  6. Certification regarding debarment and suspension (form USDA AD-1048)

Additional bonus criteria include:

  1. Statement of environmental responsibility
  2. Green business certifications
  3. Compliance with the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (for building materials)

Please note: CFSC does not endorse or certify the companies on this list. Users of the list are encouraged to request references and do their own due diligence prior to entering into agreements with the businesses listed. Organizations utilizing public funds must follow federal or state procurement guidelines. Please follow your organization’s internal procurement policies.

$1,999 Annual Listing

$3,499 Annual Listing + Vendor Spotlight Opportunity at CFSC Virtual Expo

  • Same as above
  • Vendor Spotlight Opportunity: Present or demo your services at one of our 2025 virtual expos attended by members of local Fire Safe Councils, as well as other organizations looking to source fire mitigation vendors
  • Hosted recording of virtual expo on CFSC’s YouTube channel
  • Cross-promotional posts across social media channels

Corporate Partner Promo:

Join our Corporate Partner Program and get additional logo recognition on CFSC digital communications and benefits! Vendors that come in at the $3,499 listing option are offered the Corporate Partner Bronze Level for $5,000 (regularly $10,000). See our Corporate Partner Program page for more details.

Small Business & Non-profit Discount:

Small businesses with annual revenue sales of $1,000,000 or less qualify for a 50% discount on the listing option of their choice. Non-profit organizations also qualify for a 50% discount on the listing option of their choice.

Please note: To complete the application, you will need to provide the following electronic documents and written materials. It will be helpful to have them available before applying.

  1. Proof of current liability insurance with California Fire Safe Council named as an additional insured
  2. Proof of current Workers’ Compensation Insurance
  3. Copy of your current business license
  4. Up to three professional references
  5. Statement of alignment with CFSC’s mission
  6. 50-word or less statement that highlights what your business offers (this statement will go on your listing)
