We are accepting applications through Monday, August 5th for our three Regional Coordinators. These three new positions will be based remotely in the Coastal, Southern, and Sierra-Cascade regions of the state. As a Regional Coordinator, your job would be to help build and support Fire Safe Councils and other community wildfire practitioners, and facilitate networking amongst these community spark plugs, for the region where you live and have worked.
Do you know someone who been active with a local or countywide Fire Safe Council (FSC) for at least 1 year, and who is interested in helping FSCs in their region to be effective in preparing their neighbors and communities for wildfire? We’re looking for someone who understands the opportunities and challenges facing local and/or countywide FSCs, and who is ready to step up and help address these issues at a larger scale.
