Please join the California Fire Safe Council for a webinar to discuss the upcoming grant opportunity, 2021 CAL FIRE County Coordinators Grant Program, on Wednesday, June 23rd, from 10am to 12pm PST. The objective of the County Coordinators Grant is to educate, encourage, and develop county-wide collaboration among various wildfire mitigation groups operating within counties containing State Responsibility Area (SRA) lands. This informational webinar will instruct potential applicants on how to apply for the County Coordinators Grant Program, with topics to include:
- Grant program overview
- Eligibility requirements
- Grant timeline and life cycle
- Writing and submitting your application
- Selection and award process
- Q & A session
Representatives from interested counties, including members of the board of supervisors, administrative officers, and emergency operations managers are encouraged to attend. Interested representatives from county-wide or local fire mitigation groups may also attend, however, you must work in partnership with your county representative to apply, as only one grant application will be accepted per county.
