These service days combine the forces of the California Service Corps, local community partners, leaders, nonprofits, elected officials and hundreds of volunteers in a powerful day of service. All volunteers will join the Climate Action Counts campaign to stay connected on future opportunities to stay engaged in this important work. This opportunity is made possible through partnerships at the state and local level, including: California Climate Action Corps, a program of California Volunteers, Keep California Beautiful, Sacramento City Vice Mayor Karina Talamantes, Sacramento Youth Parks and Community Enrichment VIP Program.

Role

Volunteers will plant native species and spread mulch to support community garden maintenance.
