Gabriela is a Senior Grants Specialist at CFSC with a background in international development. Born and raised in El Salvador, she completed her bachelor’s degree in international relations at the University of El Salvador before advancing her studies in Sustainable Development at the University of Warsaw in Poland. Her professional journey includes work with various governmental and non-governmental organizations, focusing on development projects in El Salvador that address gender equality, justice system reform, environmental sustainability, and human rights issues. These experiences have strengthened her expertise in project management, financial and administrative oversight, and grants administration. Outside of work, Gabriela enjoys hiking, traveling, biking, and spending quality time with friends and family. She is excited to join CFSC and contribute to its mission of building fire-resilient communities in California, her new home.
