Brittney Murphy is an Associate Grant Specialist at CFSC. She has lived in Mount Shasta for over ten years, developing a deep connection to rural communities and land stewardship. Britt holds an associate’s degree in Natural Sciences from the College of the Siskiyous and is currently completing her bachelor’s degree. Before joining CFSC, she worked at California Trout, a conservation nonprofit, supporting multi-year projects through grant management, contract oversight, invoicing, reporting, and cross-team coordination. These experiences strengthened her skills in project and grant administration, budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder communication. Outside of work, Britt enjoys reading, writing, gardening, and exploring the outdoors with her family. She is excited to contribute to CFSC’s mission of building fire-resilient communities in California.
