Fire Safe Councils are strongly encouraged to attend the upcoming Sierra Cascades Dialog Session, hosted by the U.S. Forest Service. The Dialog Session is an important opportunity to discuss ideas for long-term planning and decision-making regarding the forests’ sustainability, as the agency revises the management plans for national forests in the Sierra Nevada and Cascades.
As critical stakeholders of the National Forests, Fire Safe Councils are urged to get involved with the agencies in the current land management planning process that is taking place throughout California. Input from Fire Safe Councils is a vital piece of the process, so be sure to dedicate time and members to participate in this discussion.
Do not miss this opportunity to be part of the collaborative process that will affect you and your Forests.
