California Fire Safe Council (CFSC) is pleased to provide Grant Application Workshops for the 2014 Grants Clearinghouse cycle. The workshops are FREE and presented by CFSC Grant Managers.
All applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the 2014 Grant Application Workshop closest to them. The Grants Clearinghouse program is highly competitive and specific. Plus, each year grant requirements and agency priorities are changed and modified. It is vital that you attend the 2014 workshop whether you are a new applicant, seasoned grant writer, or experienced grantee.
While it’s important to learn how to apply for the funds, it is just as important to learn before you apply what your organization’s obligations and requirements will be to manage and report on your project if you are funded. The 2014 workshops will provide invaluable training on the grant application process as well as the requirements of receiving grants.
For the 2014 Clearinghouse cycle, the workshops will cover the following topics:
- Federal Grant Requirements: what they are and how to follow them
- Getting prepared for a grant: how to make sure that your organization is ready to accept grant funds
- Expectations of Grantees: what it takes to be a successful grantee
- Grant Program Information: types of projects and applicants eligible for the 2014 grant funds
- Step-by-step Instructions: how to complete the application
- Submission Requirements: how to submit your application correctly and on-time
Plus, you will have the opportunity to network with other applicants and grantees to share ideas, tips, and successes!
Contact your Grant Manager for more information on the workshop in your region. Lunch and refreshments will be provided at each workshop.
